Ms. Fengnian Jiang currently serves as the President of the Northwest China Chamber of Commerce USA and the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Chinese Associations in Southern California. A long-term resident of Diamond Bar in Southern California, she is widely recognized as a leading figure in the Chinese American community and a prominent liaison at the forefront of U.S.–China economic, trade, and diaspora affairs.
In February 2017, the Northwest China Chamber of Commerce USA was formally established in the City of Rosemead, California, where Ms. Jiang was elected as its founding President. In her inaugural address, she emphasized the Chamber’s mission to leverage its platform and network to build a dynamic economic and trade bridge between the five northwestern provinces of China and the United States. She further committed to organizing investment and business promotion events in Los Angeles and major cities in China, facilitating high-level exchanges, and advancing bilateral trade and investment opportunities for entrepreneurs from both countries.
Since then, Ms. Jiang has led multiple delegations to China for governmental and commercial visits, participating in major economic exchange programs such as the Silk Road International Exposition and the China (Liaoning)–U.S. Business Dialogue. She has consistently advocated for the stable, healthy, and sustainable development of U.S.–China relations, and her leadership and contributions have been covered extensively by mainstream media outlets in both countries.
In the sphere of community and diaspora affairs, Ms. Jiang has long been committed to fostering unity among Chinese organizations in Southern California. She has played key roles in organizing large-scale National Day flag-raising ceremonies and gala events celebrating the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and has served as the ceremonial flag bearer—symbolizing the deep emotional ties overseas Chinese maintain with their ancestral homeland while actively integrating into American society.
Ms. Jiang has also been a strong proponent of promoting Chinese culture internationally. She has supported and participated in cultural and branding initiatives such as the “Embrace China: Charming Shaanxi” cultural performance tour and the introduction of Xifeng Liquor into the U.S. market. In recent years, she has frequently visited member enterprises, encouraging cross-sector innovation and the integration of Chinese cuisine, beverages, and cultural elements into American local markets.
Over the years, Ms. Jiang has upheld the principle of “building community through commerce and fostering friendship through business,” continuously contributing to the welfare of the Chinese diaspora, giving back to society, and advancing cultural, economic, and people-to-people exchanges between China and the United States. She is widely regarded as one of the most influential female leaders in the Chinese American community of Southern California.
